Colevisa 1.4.1

The primary objective of the Colevisa application is to provide daily updates via mobile regarding what children will be eating at school, as well as their behavior during lunchtime.

It is a user-friendly mobile app that offers personalized and exclusive reports for each parent, detailing their child's daily cafeteria experience. The app provides information on whether each dish was eaten well, poorly, or moderately, and also reports any incidents or issues that occurred during lunch hours.

Furthermore, parents can access the daily menu with nutritional evaluations, allergen information for each dish, and recommended evening meals to complement the child's diet.

Usage is straightforward. To begin, each parent registers through a brief form within the app. Subsequently, they add their children by entering the respective center code. Once registered, they can start viewing and receiving detailed cafeteria information.

Upon logging in, users are greeted with three primary options: Mi familia (to view information about their children, including any allergies entered during registration), Menú diario (to consult the daily menu), and Reporte diario (to see how their child was served and behaved during lunch).

The app also features a secondary module for teachers and monitors, focused on three main tasks:

1. Pasar lista: Allows staff to take attendance for the cafeteria, indicating how many students will be participating in the standard menu or require special diets such as lactose-free options. It also facilitates managing special diet requests submitted by parents. This feature is designed for efficiency but includes time restrictions to prevent data duplication.
2. Puntuar comedor: An engaging feature that enables teachers to rate how well students ate after their meal, using a color-coded system (Red: Poor, Yellow: Moderate, Green: Good). Teachers can also add comments for parents to review, providing peace of mind regarding their child's lunchtime experience.
3. Cumpleaños: Displays which students are celebrating their birthdays on the current day, including their grade level. The development team plans to enhance this feature further in future updates.
